Hints of spring are everywhere as we move into late February. Crocuses will be open probably before Monday if it warms up as it is expected to do and I also discovered an old home place with old fashioned daffodils already in flower. This is my favorite flower and I found out recently it was my dad's too. I love it because it seems to be so tough in the way it perseveres through all weather conditions and returns year after year with a jolly display of bright cheer.
