I have two pictures for today. This one is of the moss on the rocks in the front of my house. I actually took the photo for the spring/winter groundhog assignment for yesterday. I love the contrast between the spring green of the moss reminding of us what is yet to come and the resilance of the snow that is hanging on for all it is worth, avoiding melting for as long as it can. Something to be said for perservance.
The second is a picture of the kids playing basketball. This was my son's very first basketball game and he was totally captivated. The only negative reaction he had was "those guys in the striped shirt blow the whistle too loud." I agree.
